As you may have heard, Martin Margiela has officially left his company after 20 years. There have been many (past, present and future) retrospectives honoring his illustrious career. We did a post on this very subject last month. Rene Rosso, the owner of Diesel (and Martin Margiela and Viktor & Rolf), announced that he will not be replacing Margiela with another designer. The current design team will continue in his absence. Judging from the recent collections, Margiela’s sure touch will be missed.
