Valentino is one of the world’s most legendary designers. For almost 50 years, he designed clothes that were synonymous with luxury, beauty and elegance. Valentino announced his retirement in 2007 and left his company in 2008. The Oscar nominated documentary “Valentino The Last Emperor” covered the last act of his long, illustrious career. It is a must see for anyone interested in fashion. After the retrospective fashion show, Karl Lagerfeld leans over to Valentino and whispers “Compared to us, the rest are making rags.”

The media spotlight has been extra bright on Jimmy Choo these days. Always a fashion favorite, the company recently launched a very successful, limited edition line with H&M. We are pleased to present a medium sized Muse Two at our eBay store. It is black patent leather with suede trim and interior. This style caused quite a sensation when it was first released in 2008. We noticed it is also causing quite a sensation on eBay. Apparently, the medium size is quite rare as most people are selling the large size. We love this bag and the medium size is perfect for everyday. Check it out soon as the auction ends this Sunday night.

This modern Chanel bag looks as if it could have stepped out of the 1980s. One of the most memorable images from The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s exhibit “The Model As Muse” was from Peter Lindbergh. Lindbergh is a German photographer famous for his moody black and white photos. In the 1980s, he used a pre-gentrified DUMBO as a location for many shoots. The images above are from a 1991 Vogue shoot, “Wild At Heart”. It was styled by Grace Coddington, the breakout star in “The September Issue”. The clothing in the top image and jewelry/belt in the second image are all Chanel. Chanel was famous for it’s bold jewelry and accessories in the ’80s.
